Whins Brow, 3.75 mile circular, July 2013

Trough RoadA short but great walk today from the Trough of Bowland up to Whins Brow, with a quick detour to check out the views of Brennand Valley. Which was a great idea as we managed to spot Whitendale Hanging Stones with the zoom lens.

It was very hot today and we made a tasty meal for many little critters but it was well worth it because this walk would be quite difficult during wet weather.

Whins Brow is a lonely and remote place – probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but this is just what we like.
