A gentle stroll along the River Brock – August 2010

Brock Bottoms is perhaps the most popular part of the Forest of Bowland. A decent path follows the picturesque River Brock and along the way there are some old mill ruins to look at. On a nice day there are lots of people out and about, having a picnic or walking the dog. And on a hot summer’s day you can paddle in the river to cool down. Today the weather was kind but not good enough to strip off.
