Brock Bottom – June 2013

We had planned to walk up to Wolfhole Crag today but I had a slightly dodgy knee, so instead we kept to a nice level walk along the River Brock to Brock Bottom.

We walked to the mill ruins and continued along to Walmsley Bridge. This is a very easy and picturesque walk and to avoid having to retrace our steps we headed back along the road for a little while. Eventually we rejoined the River Brock and crossed the bridge by the old weir, which lead us back to the car.
