Details

Our friend Sara Rees is doing a horse trek across Jordan to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.  To help her raise money we plan to do a sponsored walk on Sunday 27th June.

I have find a nice walk that should be suitable kids over eight years old.  We will walk for up to three hours so bring snacks and a drinks. We will take in some fine views across Lancashire so let’s hope the weather and visibility are good!

Clothing We might be crossing farms and moorland so please wear suitable clothing and footwear
Dogs Welcome but strictly on leads
Kids Over 8′s should be ok at your own discretion

Difficulty, distance and time

Easy – moderate walk.  Roughly 5 miles which should take about 2 1/2 hours

Parking and amenities

Parking is available at Bleasdale School.
There is not much around locally so try to have a toilet stop before you get there.
